Mizzi, Sorel has had a great 2010. He has finished top ten in 12 tournaments from January till now. He has also grabbed 4 titles this year, which currently puts his in first position in player of the year ranking. In comparison to last year this is a massive jump for the young man when he finished 174th and in 2008 his ranking was 91st. So he does seem to be doing very well this year. He also says he likes to play rakeback deals online sometimes.
Mizzi is currently at the first position in the leader board with 1,298.07 points. Thomas Marches is in second position with 773.57 points. In third it is Juan Carlos Mortersen behind Thomas with 758.55 poy points. Not far behind is Shawn Buchanan with 699.83 points.
In the fifth position is Samuel Stein with 698.90 points. Frank Kassela then comes in sixth with 693.55 points. Behind him is The Shak, Daniel Shak in seventh with 664.08 points. Last year’s player of the tournament Jason Mercier is in 8th position this year with 652.05 points. Looks like it is not going to be his year but he has had a very good season so far. Daniel Alaei currently in 9th position, finished sixth last year, he currently holds 627.30 points so still in the hunt to finish sixth this year. With 595.63 points Chris Bell is in tenth position. Then with 579.18 player of the year points its Mike Beasley in eleventh.
This year’s big surprise has to be Sorel Mizzi. He has taken the leader board by a storm and noone expected this from him. He has bounced back massively after a terrible season in 2009 and has silenced his critics.
I am ready to play some pokerstars rakeback and a full tilt rakeback online tournaments, just to try what the fuss is all about, who knows what might happen. One can always dream.
